FATHER
As we celebrate Father’s Day in the UK, I thought to share a few things on such day where fathers are honoured.
Every male will become a father at some point in their life. In the wider spectrum, a father is looked at as the “father figure” and not just when one is a biological father though history and our current society and time tells us that any male at the right age can be a biological father.
So, the question is who is a father?
Think of the best building in the world, that building has a foundation it depends on and the only reason the building can stand is because of the foundation it stands on. When the foundation of a building is not solid? The building crumbles and is unable to hold the entire structure of the wonderful beauty we all see as a building.
The above is who a father should be, the foundation. And the building seen by all is the family (wife + children). It’s so simple, it’s easily misunderstood. (Today, some fathers due to several reasons have failed to be a solid foundation in their homes and this generates to the society we see today).
Note that, the foundation (the most important part of any building) is not seen, but the beauty of the building, the grandeur of the building goes global. The truth is that the prayers, righteous walk, diligence, sacrifice, love, humility, discipline and all factors of what a father’s character should have is what we ‘fathers’ should work hard at excelling in.
Lord, make me a strong foundation to my wife, my family at large and my biological children as well as adopted children. Let my legacy be one that will lead them to excel in the things of heavenly glory and not just earthly emptiness. Help me show good examples by praying, teaching, anointing and walking in the right path. Strengthen me when I feel the weight of the load I carry as a father. Help me to continually pray, bless, prophesy according to your word to my children…. In Jesus Name I Pray AMEN!
HAPPY Father’s DAY Ya’ll

Amen.
Fantastic depiction of a Father, thank you. God has also shown Himself as an example worthy of emulation for men (and women) out there. Through Christ, we can never remain fatherless.
