It lets us know what needs to be actually taught from the pulpit as well as where our priorities should be as followers of Jesus. We belong to Jesus, the teachings of Jesus is higher priority than anyone else's (no matter what office they hold). Let us read his word (Holy Bible) and not be polluted by false teachings in this day and age. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 " Test everything. Hold on to the good." Let us not hold on to anything that is not good. Test it with his word. A good song I believe for us in our present times is "My Jesus" (by Todd Agnew) Let us imitate Christ.
