True Blessings & Breakthrough
Inspired by a message I heard today 28th Feb 2010 by Pastor Agu Irukwu of Jesus House London Brent Cross, the true source of blessings and breakthrough in our daily living could not be more accurate than what is written in Psalm 1. When I started reading the bible for myself with application of what I read as a way of life many months ago, change came and it seemed a huge scale was taken off my eyes and till now I still push myself to be a good student who is able and unashame to preach and teach what is true.
Quoting Pastor Agu, people today seek short cuts to everything and really don’t want to get down to the truth. A preacher I know once told a story of a christian who came for prayers seeking answers to certain things and after they shared a word of prayer, the christian was disappointed that the preacher did not say what God had told him concerning the issue, we seem to forget that Jesus already came so that we too can hear God. Then you have to wonder about what is said in 2 Timothy 3-4 ”For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, 4And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions.”
To gain true success, breakthrough and blessings, it is wise to look at Psalm 1 and Joshua 1:8 as they hold the only true keys to achieve such promises. While seminars, events and motivational teachings are the delight of the day at the moment, you will do well to gain revelation from the true source and then apply with actions to gain results. What will happen next is sure as day light, tested many times over, blessings, success and breakthrough will come upon you, what ever you lay your hands on and in what ever economic climate you find yourself in.
I will conclude with another true statement, one of the greatest battles you will fight is actually to settle down and read the word of God and the reason this will happen is that all opposition realises that once you are able to settle down and read, adhere and practice the word? you become a winner all round. You are officially able to fight successfully against all the trickery plans of the enemy regardless of position, ranking disguise or territory.

A true and concise view, why don’t we get a lot of these today? All they keep saying is 10 ways to get this, 15 ways to get that miracle etc. Why are we not being told our responsibilities in righteous living? Thank you for this.
